Chapter Twelve

Amir

I couldn’t tell you anything about Ava’s apartment. We entered in the dark. She told something named Cola that she was home and to go lay down. From the taps of paws on the floor, it had to be a dog. Then we were going directly to her room.

“We don’t have to do this, Ava.” We still needed to talk.

“I want to. Need to. Amir, for the past two weeks, I’ve been trying to rationalize this attraction to you, and I can’t. I…”

Placing my finger to her lips silenced her insecurities.

My lips on her neck silenced her thoughts.

The sweetest sigh escaped. Things were definitely going in the right direction. Sliding my hand around, I caressed the exposed skin on her back while trailing kisses over her neck, shoulders, and arms.

“Amir…”

Unzipping her dress came next. Followed by removing her panties and bra. As I exposed her, my lips claimed each place. I couldn’t keep my mouth off of her. Her hands stayed in my hair, caressing the tresses, and pulling me closer. Time passed, and still, I took my time to savor every inch of her.

Eventually, I laid her on the bed, but the attentiveness never waivered. Call me selfish, but I was in no rush. When she tried to hurry me, I simply took my belt off and tied her hands to her headboard. The lack of control seemed to do something to her. She felt me more than before. “You’re driving me crazy! Pleeease!” she begged.

Ignoring her still, I continued my game. We’d progressed to me using teeth on parts of her and my hands on the rest.

“Simple. You ran from me.”

“Now you have to deal with the torture you’ve put me through. The reward won’t come cheap, baby.”

Ava groaned as I took her nipple back into my mouth. Her entire body trembled under my touch in response.

“Please! I’ll do anything. Just pleease!”

“Tell me you’re sorry for leaving me alone after that damn kiss. Tell me that you meant it.” I nibbled behind her ear before trailing my tongue down her neck.

“I am. I should have never left. I’m so, so, so sorry. Please forgive me, Amir. Please!”

It would have been easy to respond verbally. That’s not the route that I took. I took my time, licking between her breasts down to the part of her that cried the most for me. Soaked.

Ava held her breath, hoping I’d do exactly what she needed. She was beyond want. She was desperate for relief from me. The proof was right here, and so I indulged. Her gasps and the sweet moans in response told me that I’d given her the right amount of time. This was when this needed to happen.
